More actions needed against enemy of peace : Chaman | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: Appreciating the surgical operation by the forces, the former Union Minister of State for Defence, Chaman Lal Gupta has stressed for more actions to make realize the enemies of peace that violence would lead them nowhere except sufferings to mankind. Terming the operation as clean and swift Gupta observed that this strike at terror camps across Line of Control has demonstrated that our brave soldiers are capable to hit the enemy at any where. Moreso, this has also removed the notion that cross border terror is incurable menace, though much remains to be done. He said that unanimous reaction of joy in the country over brave strike against terror, is a matter of pride that entire nation stood behind the forces and the dangers of extremism is being denounced world over. Referring to the sad situation in the Valley, Gupta said, this was the creation of Pakistan and its unscrupulous agents. They needed to be dealt with firmly as they are not only indulging in sedition but also misleading and cheating the Kashmiris for their own ends. In this regard, he pointed out that some of top leaders of the secessionists have taken oath of the Constitution and drawing benefits even now. Astoundingly they are too harping for what they call as Azadi, and asking the younger generation for sacrifices whereas their own children are abroad to become Doctors, Engineers and high class technocrats. All this, he observed is height of hypocracy and stressed the need for sustained efforts to expose such dubious characters who are misguiding the youths and spoiling their future as also harming the economic condition of so many peace loving people. Above all, Gupta maintained that there is need for increased vigil to frustrate the designs of the enemy who had no morals and respect for human values. |
