HelpAge India marks 'International Day of Older Persons' | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 1: HelpAge India Jammu marked 'International Day of Older Persons' at Shibu Chak village in Bishna & Sarwa village in Samba During the event, Help age India Jammu Team felicitated and honored the parents and wives of the 2 brave soldiers who lost their lives while fighting the four terrorists who attacked the Army Brigade Headquarters in Uri sector of Baramulla district on 18th september. Havildar Ravi Paul of 10 Dogra Regiment was one of the 18 brave soldiers who lost his life while fighting the four terrorists. He had served the army for 23 years. He was from village Sarwain Ramgarh sub-sector of Samba district. The soldier left behind his Mother Malavie Devi, Wife Geeta Rani & his two sons Vansh, Saransheesh Naib Subedar Karnail Singh was from Shibu Chak village in Bishnah. He has made the village a proud with his martyrdom. The soldier left behind his mother Ratno Devi,Wife Geeta Saini and his three sons Anmol, Arun & Shivam HelpAge India is a leading charitable organization working with and for older people in India for the past 38 years.
