JKTF holds protest against DSEJ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) today held a protest demonstration against Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) for adopting anti- employees' policy against employees here at press club Jammu. According to press release, JKTF state General Secretary Ganesh Khajuria said that DSEJ violates all the norms of transfer policy by favoring some blue- eyed employees, adjusting them at the zero kilometer distance giving the prime posts within the city where as on the other hand dislocating the females, handicapped, patients suffering from lifelong ailments and transferring some masters in far flung areas of Jammu province and harassing them deliberately for the reasons well known to those sitting at the helm of affairs. Meanwhile, he also condemned the police action on the teachers sitting peacefully on the chain hunger strike for the last nine days in front of DESJ. "Instead of modified the orders of many blue-eyed employees by adopting the mal practices and corrupt means violating all the norms of transfer policy in the name of Transfer Melas by education department. He urged upon the Hon'ble chief Minister and Minster for Education to personally intervene in this matter and order an independent enquiry in the matter to unearth the corrupt means adopted by DSEJ in the recent transfers. Prominent who addressed the demonstration included Rajinder Gupta, Gopal Singh, Surat Singh Toofani and others. |
