4 new cases of dengue detected in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: Four more people have tested positive for dengue in Kathua region, taking the total number of patients suffering from this deadly disease to 10. "Four fresh cases of dengue were detected yesterday taking the total number to 10 in the entire Kathua region," said Chief Health Officer Dr R.K Sangda. He said a health advisory has been issued by government and the health department which has been widely published in local dailies to create awareness among people. Patients have been told to take precautions so as to save themselves from mosquito bites. They have also been advised to discard any stagnant water which can become breeding ground for mosquitoes. |
