Railways Police seizes cash worth 3,40,700 rupees 11/15/2016 10:01:50 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 15: During routine checking at railway Station Jammu one person Neeraj Sharma S/O Raj Kumar Sharma of GDA Nagar Ludhiana was booked while checking/frisking at VIP Gate, X-ray point of Railway Station Jammu by the men of Railways police Jammu under section 55/109/Cr.PC. The cash amounting to Rs. 3,40,700/- primarily in the notes which are no longer legal tenders was seized. Income tax authorities were consulted and Satbeerh DD Income Tax alongwith Parvesh Khajuria, Inspector Income Tax Department reached on the spot to carry out the departmental formalities. The source of the cash will also be ascertained by the Income Tax department.
