| BPL families deposit huge cash in Rajouri | | |

Rajouri, Nov 15: : After the announcement of PM regarding banning Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, there is a huge rush of people outside all the banks in Rajouri city for depositing and changing notes.
Many cases have come openly where some people were seen depositing money more than 5 lacs and in some cases, few persons reportedly deposited over 10 lacs. Interestingly, some BPL families were seen depositing for more than 5 lacs and this has raised a question mark on the BPL/APL survey conducted by administration.
Some blue eyed persons belonging to some political leaders were given benefits by administration by adjusting them in BPL list. Thus huge fraud was committed by those departments who were given the directions to carry out BPL/APL survey. Such a situation cropping up raises an eye brow as to how surveys were conducted earlier by administration where some APL families were shifted in BPL. The drive is still going on and in many cases, people having unknown income were seen depositing it into the bank. It is the high time for administration to check the credibility of BPL/APL survey again. |
