| Dilapidated condition of Dunadi Bunjwah road irk villagers | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Nov 15: Worried about the bad condition of Chenab valley roads especially Dunadi Bunjwah road which is in bad condition from several years in the district Kishtwar. As public is facing huge difficulties while travelling the road, the residents of Bunjwah have appealed the concerned authorities to maintain the road to avoid agitation.
Informing this media person, people said that the road is in poor condition even the MOS R&B and Revenue Sunil Sharma hails from the same district but despite of it the road condition is in shambles. They alleged that the officials of concerned department are not directing the contractors to expedite the construction work on this road. Nasir Shafi a local resident said that the entire road from Dunadi to Bunjwah is under construction from several years under JKPCC and PMGSY. He added more that "Due to bad condition of road and lack of proper drainage system, the passengers and drivers are facing problems.
This problem manifolds during rainy season, thus making roads accident prone, "The public of Bunjwah said that the concerned authorties are not giving interest in maintaining this road link which is only way of their distt. Headquarter Kishtwar. Another resident said that due to non macdemization the road is covered with dust causing hazards to public during their journey . Adding that it had become a golden era for contractors and PMGSY, JKPCC to withdraw huge amount of money without performing work on ground. |
