| Minor girl recovered from Bihar | | | Early Times Report
Mendhar, Nov 15: A minor girl has been recovered from Bihar by the police party who allegedly was kidnapped by a Bihari labourer working here, sources said.
A minor girl namely Hajra Akhtar Daughter of Lal Mohd of Salwah Mendhar was allegedly kidnapped by a Bihari labourer identified as Mohd Anwar son of Nazim Ah of Kishenganj area of Bihar a week ago from Mendhar.
Sources said Anwar was a labourer working in Salwah area and may have lured the minor girl by some gifts, who fell prey to his plan and took away here to Bihar.
A police team headed by Sub Inspector Samir Bhat Incharge Police Post Ari after getting the information Police party went to Bihar and recovered the minor girl from the house of Anwar. Though Anwar was able to give a slip to police party but the girl was brought to Mendhar and handed over to her family members. Police sources said that the operation was monitored by SDPO Shahid Nayeem under the direct supervision of SSP Poonch JS Johar.
A FIR under no. 169 stands registered in the case at Police Post Ari and investigation have been started to nab the accused. |
