Locals allege host's failure to aware people about BJP's 12/6/2016 9:45:40 PM Neeraj Badyal Early Times Report Samba, Dec 6: Expressing concerns over the poor response to the Public Meet (Darbar) held here today at Sumb in Samba district by Bhartiya Janta Party where MOS of State Priya Sethi along with local MLA Samba DK manyal, DC Samba Sheetal Nanda were present due to the lack of information among the people. People alleged that no information regarding Public Meet was shared with the people of Sumb and adjoining areas. Only officer of the different departments participated in the durbar besides some people who had some contacts with BJP leaders participated in this meeting. District and Block authorities despite having due information much in advance has not made people aware people regarding public durbar held at Sumb and thus barring few locals only employees of the different departments were seen participating in this specially organized durbar. "If the department had informed people in time then it woulod have helped people of area to get amny issues resolved but it failed to serve the purpose," said Nishu Sharma a local from Sumb. However some people haling from Sodam Panchayat of Sumb raised the issue of water scarcity to which the visiting minister Ms Priya Sethi and local MLA DK Manyal responded assertively and directed concerned officials to take cognizance in this regard.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
