Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 6: After getting very disappointing feedback from party workers, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav today told ministers that Centre is not going to tolerate corruption at cost. He said that there is an impression among workers and common masses here that BJP workers have shamelessly sold Jammu's interests just to remain in power.
Credible sources said that Ram Madhav while attending meeting of party ministers late this evening told that image of BJP ministers among workers and common people of Jammu was very negative and asked party ministers to improve their image.
Credible sources said that earlier during his meeting with party leaders Ram Madhav was informed about corrupt practices of the party ministers. Some leaders told that one and only achievements of BJP ministers in the government was to legalize corruption and promoting transfer industry in the State. Some of the leaders, sources said, told Ram Madhav that party ministers have become non performing liabilities on people of Jammu.
Credible sources said that Ram Madhav was very aware that BJP workers would speak about party ministers so he asked state leadership to invite ministers in the leaders' meeting also so that leaders could not dare to speak in front of them but leaders made it clear to the state leadership that they would not attend meeting if ministers were invited. Despite efforts of some state leaders, on the direction of Ram Madhav to invite ministers in the meeting, no minister was allowed to attend the meeting.
BJP office bearers told state leadership of the party that some workers would hesitate to speak against ministers in their presence so if party high command wants genuine feedback about functioning of the government, ministers should not be allowed in the meeting. It was only after anger shown by the leaders that ministers were asked not to attend review meeting.
Credible sources said that some supporters of ministers, who were present in the meeting, tried to present good pictures of their bosses but the enraged leaders foiled their game-plan to give an impression to that ministers were working very hard.
Credible sources said that some BJP leaders have straightway told Ram Madhav that if elections would be held today, BJP would be completed wiped out from Jammu region. They said that BJP ministers were digging grave of the party in Jammu region and they are only protecting interests of business lobbies and their family members.
