Jammu, Dec 6: Score of locals today staged a protest demonstration against construction agencies for allegedly interfering and eventually harming natural resources. According to reports, locals blocked Bakal road to protest against Konkan Railways and AFCON, alleging that due to railway projects the natural springs have disappeared.
They said that the people are suffering a lot due lack of water, as the natural spring has been totally damaged in the ongoing project.
They further said that owing to pace of project, many people are getting ill due to dust. They accused the MD of AFCON company Mishra for not taking their grievances seriously. |
