WPHRF hails Govt's step for issuance of certificates 12/6/2016 9:54:19 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 6: West Pakistani Hindu Refugee Front, J&K under the Chairmanship of Hony Sub Maj Madan Lal Dubgotra, alongwith his team comprises of Sanjeev Adgotra, Vice Chairman Sahil Verma, Coordinator Jammu and others thanked the BJP Government at Centre and State on behalf of all West Pakistani Hindu Refugees (WPHR) for initiating steps for issuance of certificates to them to prove their residentship. As per press release, he said that for the purpose of enrolment of their wards in the Armed and Central Para Military Forces, superseding the earlier objectionable Certificate being/have been issued to WPHRF in accordance with Divisionals Commissioner Jammu letter No 402/WP Refugees/Certificate/2309-11 dated 13-08-2016. The earlier Certificate was containing therein as formerly resident of West Pakistan and subsequently migrated to J&K during 1947 although one had been born in J&K during Sixties or so. The President WPHR Front, as such, had requested the Deputy CM through Grievance Cell BJP Jammu and the Divisional Commissioner Jammu vide memorandum dated 05thNovember 2016 to modify the Certificate in question, into the form of Residence Certificate duly including the Reservation Category so as to facilitate WPHR to avail the benefit of reservation facility for enrolment in Central Forces where applicable.
