Tata-Mobile Union Kargil protest enters 8th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 6: Despite of Chilling cold, Tata Mobile Union Kargil staged protest against the Cooperative Society accusing them that the Army, Government and non-government bound Contract Tenders are being snatched by the some influential people using their influence, which is totally injustice and no-transparent. More than 200 Tata Mobile drivers and owners are on protest at Kurbathang plateau against this process since last week. The protest has entered on 8th day today where the protesters have stopped their vehicles. Meanwhile talking to media the protesters were also accusing district administration, LAHDC Kargil and the local leaders for not paying any attention towards their demands. These protesters were also chanting slogans against MP Ladakh, Chairman Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali, CEC LAHDC Kargil and MLA Kargil. "We are here from last week and nobody has even come to ask that why we have staged this protest here'' said a Protester. Mohammad Khalil. He further said, "The Leh bound Tata Mobiles are paid 0ne thousand from Leh to Kargil while we are being paid from Kargil to Leh which is Injustice". President Feroze Ahmed Said, "Some influential people led by cooperative society by using their influence and approach didn't give us chance in any tender".
