JAMMU, Dec 6: Ambedkar club paid rich tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar on his 61th Mahaparinirvan Diwas on 6th of December at Kabir Nagar Jammu.
According to press release, the programme started with floral tribute and a silence for two minutes. On the occasion, various speakers expressed their views on the life history and contribution of Baba Sahib, who throughout his life worked for the upliftment of poor, downtrodden and women of the country.
Speakers also stressed upon the members to work for the mission pay back to the society and also spread the teaching of the Baba Sahib to every nook and corner of the state.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Dr Mohan K. Atri, Dr. Rajesh Bhagat, Manmeet K. Mottan, Dr Jaswant Singh, Ankush Hans, Sanjay Bhagat and others. |
