BJP Ministers mere ornamental pieces in Mehbooba govt: Harsh | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 22: Having failed to get any of the demands of the people of Jammu region conceded in the recent cabinet meeting held on Tuesday last, Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman and Former Minister accused the Jammu based Ministers of making vague, nauseating statements through the media so as to hoodwink their electorates. He said that the media statements of some of the Ministers that they raked up the issues of Jammu region in the cabinet meet but were not heard, were as amusing as ridiculous, said Harsh. He said that the people of Jammu expected some positive development in the cabinet meeting so as to resolve the crisis pertaining to Nowshera-Sunderbani-Kalakot District status besides Hiranagar fiasco and other Jammu based issues. The meeting had demoralized the people of Jammu with all the muscle flexing and bold assertions of BJP Ministers proving a hoax. Reminding the BJP leaders of their incessant chest thumping over the issue of ensuring CBI probe into Kathua rape and murder case besides settling the new District row and providing ADCs for various agitating tehsils, Singh said that they must own the responsibility for having failed their people. Likewise, lots of expectations were aroused with regard to rescission of minutes of meeting pertaining to illegal settlements of nomads in different parts of state, said Harsh. He said that the issue of Rohingyas having created a security alarm in Jammu in view of their criminal acts and drugs and human trafficking undertaken by them on a large scale, it was expected that some decision would be taken with regard to their deportation. |
