| Anti-BJP slogans raised during martyr Thussu's last rites | | |  Early Times Report
JAGTI CAMP (NAGROTA), Mar 22: Anti-BJP slogans repeatedly rented in the air as displaced Kashmiri Hindus living in this satellite township were giving vent to their anger against Saffron Party for pursuing anti-India agenda in J&K just to remain in power.
As soon as body of martyr Deepak Thussu, who attained martyrdom with fighting with terrorists in North Kashmir on Wednesday, reached Jagti camp, people raised slogans against state government in general and BJP in particular for rewarding terrorists and demoralizing nationalist people.
People were genuinely raising anti-BJP slogans because none of the minister from this party could spare time from the "busy schedule" to attend funeral of the martyr. All the BJP ministers were in the town but they do not have time for the martyrs.
Two BJP MLCs, who too became part of power hungry BJP leadership to blindly pursue anti-India agenda in the government to keep PDP in good humour, attended funeral of the martyr but they too faced wrath of the people due to policies of their own government.
Some people attending last rites of the martyr regretted that BJP ministers could not spare time for the martyr. They said that before becoming part of the power, BJP leadership had promised to protect interests of minorities in J&K but after becoming a part of the power, BJP leadership is pursing anti-Jammu and anti-India agenda just to appease separatists and PDP. |
