| Five day PET training programme commences | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 22: Five days Physical Education Teachers Training programme of Jammu division under Rashtriya Madyamik Shiksha Abhiyan commenced today at Youth Hostel Nagrota. The training programme started in many disciplines including Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Kabaddi & football gets underway here at Youth Hostel Nagrota today. In all 150 (Male/Female) Physical Education Masters/Teachers drawn from all the 10 districts of Division Jammu are taking part in the training programme which include 15 teachers/masters from each district. In order to make the training programme more effective and purposeful various committees have been framed to make the said programme successful. The main objective of the training programme is to convey the latest amendments in rules & regulations and also to refine the skills of teachers in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Kabaddi & football. Earlier the training programme was inaugurated by Madan Lal Jt. Director Youth Services and Sports in presence of Chanchal Kour, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu. Whole addressing the participants Madan Lal said that by organizing such programmes one gets the opportunity to know about the latest rules and regulations of the games and also provide the opportunity to the teachers to interact with the teachers of other districts as well. |
