AIBCU hails decision of Governor for returning reservation bill | | | Jammu, Mar 22: All India Backward Class Union hailed the Governor for returning reservation bill passed in the just concluded JK Assembly in February 2018 to government for clarification. In an emergency meet of the union under the president ship of its president Abdul Majid Malik, termed the reservation on the name of language is totally unconstitutional. The same bill during NC-Congress regime granting 5% reservation was too returned at that time. How the law makers in the state go against the constitution is beyond the understanding of a common man. He further said that the working of the state commission for backward classes is not credulous in view of its amended constitution in the state assembly by making it too weak with its chairman out of the judiciary system which stands nowhere in the country. The recommendations of state commission for backward classes are only for inclusion/ exclusion of castes and not for percentage of reservation which has already been decided by the Apex Court of the country. All the speakers and the participants raised the question over the working style of PDP-BJP which reflects only Muscle force ruling in the state and that is why time and again emphasis are given to such unconstitutional acts in the state under the misuse of Art. 370. |
