| DLIS tournament for girls, boys begins | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: District Level Inter School (DLIS) tournament under the RMSA scheme for Girls and Boys under 17 years of age group was inaugurated today at Mini Stadium Udhampur.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Krishan Lal was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest congratulated the participants and organizing committee for the smooth and successful conduct of the competition.
About 150 boys and girls drawn from different 12 Schools participated in the said tournament.
The tournament is being organized in collaboration with the Chief Education Officer Udhampur under the overall supervision of Sudesh Kumar Chalotra District Youth Services & Sports Officer Udhampur.
In the Volleyball U/17 Boys category, the Government High School Chiryai defeated Government High School Malhar while the Government High School Rown defeated Government Higher Secondary School Boys, Udhampur.
In the Kho-Kho U/17 Girls category, the Government High School Sewna defeated Government Higher Secondary School Girls Udhampu while the Government High School Malhar defeated Government Girls High School Udhampur |
