| Lal Singh takes out candle march at Samba, reiterates CBI probe in Rassana case | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, May 6: Former Forest Minister Chaudhary Lal Singh took out a candle march here today. Reports said that large number of people of the district participated in the candle march which started from Border road samba and culminated at Sumb road Samba. The protesters raised slogans against the state government and demanded CBI probe in Rassana murder case.
Addressing the gathering, Lal Singh said that the people have not faith in crime branch investigation. He said that if the people are demanding CBI inquiry for last two months why the state government is not agreeing to the same. We will not rest till a CBI inquiry is ordered, he said. He also asked why "Kashmiri officers" were appointed to probe the crime. |
