KATHUA, May 6: In opposition to the registration of FIR against some members of the Hindu Ekta Manch (HEM) for showing black flags to the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) yesterday, the HEM activists today held a strong protest to condemn the state government at Kootah Morh, Hiranagar near here.
It is pertinent to mention here that the HEM activists along with the family members of the accused persons in Rasana rape and murder case on Saturday showed black flags to the Minister for PHE, I &FC Sham Lal Choudhary at Kootah Morh when he was on his way to attend the District Development Board meeting at Kathua. In this connection, a case FIR No 71/2018 under sections 341/147/149/353/336/427 of Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) was registered at Police station Hiranagar against the president of HEM Vijay Kumar, Kant Kumar and Raj Kumar Khajuria. |
