Early Times Report

Jammu, May 6: Jammu All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association held meeting and expressed concern regarding pending demands of the AJKPA.
The meeting was chaired by Senior Vice President StateMushtaq Ahmad and was attend by all the members of state body of province Jammu led by Mohammad Farooq Malik.
All emphasised on the genuine deamnds of the association and said that rhe patwar Fraternity suffered a lot due to negligent and callous attitude of the Government towards our demands particularly the Grade Pay. Mushtaq said that the Apex body has already given a token strike which was called off only after the assurance of the then Revenue Minister that demands will be full filled. The Apex body has number of times met with the then Revenue Minister of the Jammu and Kashmir, Finance Minister and even Chief Minister and other Ministers of the state and appraised them with the legitimate and genuine demands of the association but till date only assurance and nothing in black and White.
Despite the lapse of two and half months after the strike has been called off, the government has not full filled, keeping in view the callous approach of the government it was unanimously decided that the all Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Assocaition will go on strike from May 8, 2018 to get their demands full filled.
