Jammu, May 6: Inter-School Tournament organised by department of Youth Services and Sports concluded on Sunday.
According to press release, the Boys and Girls U-14/17 years in the discipline of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Wrestling and Volleyball of Zone Arnia participated in the tournament at Higher Secondary School Arnia.
On the valedictory Ceremony MLA Bishnah Kamal Arora was the Chief Guest. He stressed on the importance of sports in day to day life particularly girls and the development of national integrity. He announced that Indoor Badminton Court will be constructed in the Arnia zone. He appreciated the sports events of U/14 players particularly Volleyball.
The Physical Education Lecturer Kulbir Singh, S.Harsimran Singh, Kuldip Raj Sudan, organizing Committee and staff members of School were also present.
The matches were officiated by Uttar Kumar Saini, Kamal Saini, Balwan Singh, Ashok Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Anil Kumar. |
