| BDC chairman starts construction work of lane, drain | | |  Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Mar 19: Block Development Council (BDC) Chairman of block Ramgarh, Darshan Singh today started the construction work of lane and drain with an estimated cost of Rs. 7.10 lakh in village Chhowani, falling under the jurisdiction of panchayat Halqua Abtal block Ramgarh.
According to press release, he was accompanied by Narinder Kour - Sarpanch Narinder Kour of Panchayat Halqua Abtal. BDC Chairman said that Rs. 20.00 lacs for improvement and development of lane and drain or other infrastructure under SC quota has been approved and this fund will be executed in three phase. He said that today the construction work of first phase has been started. Darshan Singh appealed the people to follow the precautionary measures and obey the advisory issued by the administration so that COVID 19 could be stopped.
Sarpanch Narinder Kour told that it was prolonged demand of the public which has been fulfilled. She said that the people may take the advantage of government sponsored schemes for setting up the small scale units for earning their livelihood. |
