4/2/2020 12:35:41 AM
Early Times Report

Kathua, Apr 1: Former Minister & President DCC Kathua Dr Manohar lal Sharma while giving his views of on J&K reorganization order by MHA on domicile criticized GOI and BJP and its leadership for playing with sentiments of people and backstabbing & betraying the educated unemployed youth of J&K. Manohar said recent notification by MHA has exposed BJP & its leadership and said even during visit of 25 central ministers the same was said that land & job rights for locals will be safeguarded and a strong domicile law was given but now everything is clear in front of people. While terming it as unfortunate Dr Sharma said it will give rise to unemployment and joblessness in J&k as due to prevailing conditions , youth of state can’t compete with the youth of rest of country and said this law in not into the interest of youth & people of J&K. Manohar further said the youth of J&K post abrogation of special status and disbanding of state into UT were promised that their rights to jobs shall not be affected and rather lot of jobs would be created in private sector but now as per the notification the gazetted and higher posts would go to the new Cadre for which all shall be eligible but for inferior posts of level four, would also be shared by the local with outsiders eligible under new provisions is further humiliation with the youth . Manohar also said that increase of Rs 5 in toll tax at Sarore toll plaza and new toll Plaza at Lakhanpur has further exposed BJP’s anti youth, anti-people policies and termed it as organized loot by BJP to favour the crowny class on cost of common people.
