| JKNGEEA resents suspension of Meter Readers | | |

JAMMU, July 23: J&K Non Gazetted Electrical Employees Association (JKNGEEA) expresses its serious resentment over the suspension of some Meter Readers of different Divisions of Power Distribution Corporation Ltd. Jammu arbitrarily without any valid reason.
This has generated shocking waves to the entire field staff performing the duties in a very critical conditions, where on one side, they are facing the Covid pandemic and on the other, collecting meter readings and revenue in the most vulnerable conditions.
By putting the blame on the field staff, the authorities are actually hiding their gross negligence, which is not acceptable to the employees.
JKNGEEA while severely condemning this suspension order, demands its immediate revocation and also demands to conduct a genuine enquiry into the use of substandard material in the transmission system causing the huge losses. JKNGEEA also condemn the suspension of thee Engineers of PDD urge the employees to unitedly fight this arrogance of authorities and hold demonstrations if this suspension order is not revoked. |
