Jammu, Apr 25: In the ongoing fight over KAS seniority list presently pending adjudication at Jammu and Kashmir High Court, several KAS officers including the petitioners are planning to resign from government jobs. According to them, discrimination continues even after change of guard in the state.
It is pertinent to mention that the last regime is accused of discriminating against hundred KAS officers on flimsy grounds. The issue remains unsettled for the past five years. They said the incumbent government was also acting in a similar fashion by further stretching the issue unnecessarily by filling multiple LPAs/SLPs before the High Court and Supreme Court of India.
As per the details available with "Early Times" the senior officers who are several in number and belong to different feeding services of KAS, are planning to quit the jobs if the government doesn't mend its ways.

Srinagar, Apr 25: The city of Srinagar is getting a face lift yet again ahead of annual darbaar move. However, a probe ordered into the infamous facelift scam by former R&B minister remains inconclusive.
Despite setting five deadlines since 18/10/2013 when early times first exposed the multi-crore scam , former Minister for R&B, Abdul Majeed Wani failed to probe the scam.
