Difference of 7000 votes to decide fate of Farooq, Karra | | | Javaid Naikoo
Srinagar, May 8 : With all eyes set on May 16 results, independent estimate show that a difference of mere 7000 votes will decide the fate of Farooq Abdullah of NC and Tariq Hameed Karra of PDP on central Kashmir constituency. The Constituency wise polling figures received from reliable sources reveals that in Kangan area of Ganderbal District 57.40% polling was recorded and total number of votes cast were 37363 among which NC got 21682, PDP 14081 and Other candidates got 1600 votes. In another Constituency of Ganderbal 26.6% polling was recorded and here total number votes cast is 22320 among which NC got 4328 and PDP secured 13600 while as other candidates could fetch 4392 votes. In NC Bastion Hazratbal constituency, the polling percentage recorded was 12.53% and total number of votes cast is 11557 among which NC got 4782 votes and PDP got 4120 while as Others ended with 2655 votes. Another NC Bastion Zadibal Constituency, the polling percentage remained low at 4.97% and total number of votes cast were 3676 among which NC got 1400 votes and PDP managed to score 962 votes while as other candidates moved few steps ahead and snatched 1314 votes of Farooq Abdullah. In Mubarak Gul's Eidgah constituency total 8.29% polling was recorded and total number of 4601 votes were cast among which NC got 1620 votes and PDP moving ahead scored 2428 votes while as others scored 553 votes, resulting in good amount of damage to Dr Farooq Abdullah here. Khanyar called as Sagar's den 9.32% polling was recorded and total number of votes 4601votes were cast among which NC got 2759 and PDP 1720 votes while as others scored 122 votes from here. From Habakadal 3.81% was polling was recorded and total number of 1974 votes were cast here among which NC got 890 votes while PDP got 942 and here Others scored 142 votes. In Amira Kadal 6.57% polling was recorded and total number of votes cast were 5252 among which NC got1921 votes, PDP moving ahead here scored 3205 and Others ended up with 126 votes. In previously NC dominated Sonwar constituency 14.67% polling was recorded and total number of votes cast were 10451 among which NC got 5792 votes and PDP 4103 while as Others once again directly cut 556 votes of Farooq Abdullah from here. At home Ground of Kara, Batmaloo 9.92% polling was recorded and total number of 11356 votes were cast among which NC scored 1628 while as PDP moving far ahead of NC here scored 9622 votes and Others scored 106 votes. In Budgam 28.49% polling was recorded and here total number of 28625 votes were cast among which NC got 12080 votes and PDP got 10723 while as here other candidates possibly Aam Aadmi Party candidate,Raja Muzaffar scored a good number of 5822 votes from here. In Chadoora 37.52% polling was recorded and total number of 22922 votes were cast among which NC got 5928 and far ahead than NC here scored PDP 14682 while as Others scored 2312 votes from here also. From Khan Sahab Budgam 24.28% polling was recorded and total no of 20575 votes were cast among which NC got 5292 and PDP scored 12620 while as Others ended at 2663 votes. In Chararishareef 55.41% polling was recorded and total number of votes costed were 42691 among which NC scored 23322 and PDP got 15228 while as others ended up at another highest mark of 4141 votes from here. Out of total number 149 migrant votes NC got 20 and PDP scored 12 votes and others also got 12 votes. |
