Police team deputed to recover bodies lying near Sinthan Top

Srinagar, July 6: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday deputed a team to Sinthan Top in Koernag area following information about the
presence of three dead bodies in the area.
A senior police official said after receiving information about the three bodies lying at Fimbri Behak forest area of Sinthan Top, a police team was deputed today morning to recover the bodies.
" We have deputed a police team today early morning to the area for recovering the bodies. It is believed that the persons whose identity could not be ascertained might have killed due to lightning or snow avalanche last year.
Police sources, however, told Early Times that it was premature to comment on the issue. "The cause of death of the three unidentified persons can be established only after postmortem of the bodies.
"Nothing can be said this time, let the team recover the bodies first" a senior police officer said. Meanwhile two persons were injured in two separate road accidents
across the valley while a house damaged in fire, a police statement said.
"An unknown vehicle hit and injured 35 year old Mushtaq Ahmad Wagay resident of Demdula Dooru at Toll post Qazigund on NHW. The injured was shifted PHC Qazigund for treatment," the statement said.
Meanwhile, a Tipper bearing registration number JK01Q-9218 and a Bus bearing registration number JK02N-3675 collided at Lawaypora near Radio sub-station Station resulting in injuries to a lady Hasina Banowife of Shabir Ahmad Khan resident of Mudje Sopore. The injured lady was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
The statement further informed that fire broke out in the residential house of Fayaz Ahmad Ganai son of Ghulam Qadir Ganai at Rampora
Tulmulla, Ganderbal, resulting in damage to the house. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and Police. Meanwhile, the statement said that 21 year Umer Farooq son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Qamarwari consumed some poisonous substance at his home last evening. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital.
