Astounded by Indian response, Pak coerced to seek flag meet | | |
JAMMU, Aug 27: Pakistan has been forced to seek a flag meet with India to defuse the tension along the border. It is for the first time in the recent years that Pakistan has made this offer after having suffered huge losses in retaliatory fire by the India. The strong response from the India was in line with the new thinking in the government after Modi government took over the reins of the country. Pakistan got the message of the change in thinking when Modi government decided to call of Foreign Secretary level talks between the two countries when Pakistan went ahead with meeting separatists of the Kashmir. "Pakistan then decided to pressurize India by firing along border and inflicting causalities to force India to hold talks. But this time it got response in its language," said the official. According to Pak media, it has suffered immensely from the Indian firing and losses there were much higher than India. It was because of it that there were public protests against the rangers and to end its mis-adventure which was forcing to fire back in equal measure. Sources said that the message to the Pakistan has been quite clear that it has to stop this firing along the border and also to stop meddling in the internal affairs of the India. "Pak has learnt its lesson in a hard manner. It first got rebuff when it decided to hold talks with the separatists. And now it got to understand that new Modi government can't be treated like the earlier government," said a senior official. |
