Early Times was first to report decision of Beg 11/17/2014 12:19:50 AM Jammu, Nov 16: Decision of National Conference (NC) stalwart Dr Mehboob Beg to withdraw his candidature has authenticated Early Times news published on Nov 14 that one of the NC candidate was mulling to surrender his candidature. Early Times in its November 14 edition had reported that one of the NC candidate was thinking to withdraw his candidature because his supporter was mounting pressure on him not to contest elections on NC mandate. Early Times had reported in its November 14 edition that that a National Conference candidate who has been giving mandate to contest election is seriously thinking to surrender the ticket because he is not interested to contest the elections. It was reported by the Early Times that supporters of this leader have suggested that situation is not conducive to contest elections on the mandate of NC so it is better not to join the electoral fray. Early Times had reported ?Close of aid of this leader revealed that the leader has yet not made up his mind to surrender the mandate but he is seriously thinking over it. His supporters and family members have asked him to sight health as a reason to withdraw himself from the electoral battle because chance of victory this time is bleak".
