Jammu, Mar 11: Jammu Civil society for ART and Literature ( JCSAL) felicitated veteran journalsist Ved Bhasin and former Chief Secretary Noor Mohammad her today. In an impressive function attended by th who's who of the civil society of the state, the contributions of these two veteran personalities in their respective fields of activity were recalled.
Welcoming the chief guest s, Sohail Kazmi vice Preisdent JCSAL said that both the personalities who were being honored had rendered yeomans service to the state In the field of journalism and civil service respectively. Speaking on the occasion, Aslam Qureshi , President , JSCAL read the biographical sketch of Noor Mohammad and recalled the pioneering steps he took during his carrer as a civvila servant and eventually as the chief secretary of the state .
General Secretary , JSCAL Khalid Husaain spoke about the life and achievement s of the Ved Bhasin , Pioneer of Journalism in J&K State and his tireless services in highlighting the problems of people at large particularly the downtrodden and oppressed sections of the society can never be forgotten , he said.. |
