CM directs district officials to remain present in offices 3/11/2015 11:56:49 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 11: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, has directed all the district officials to remain present in their offices and make serious efforts to solve problems faced by the people. He also warned that any laxity on this front will not be tolerated. Reliable sources said that Chief Minister gave above directions soon after he chaired a high level meeting with the administrative officers at Jammu on Wednesday. "Officers should survey developments of their areas and must stay at their offices. Any complaint regarding non seriousness on behalf of any official will be dealt severely and the officers will be punished," he warned. The Chief Minister also said that large number of people turning to Civil Secretariat was a pointer that district officials were not paying adequate attention to redressal of grievances and warned them that any laxity on this front will not be tolerated by the State Government and stringent action would be taken against callous officials. Sources said that he has asked the officials to hear out the problems brought before them by general public, list them and ensure time bound and adequate action on the complaints.
