Private security guard shoots self 3/12/2015 12:01:53 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 11: A security guard of Private Finance Company allegedly committed suicide by shooting self with his 12 bore gun near Rajput Sabha falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Parade Ground in winter capital. "The deceased has been Swarn Singh (45) son of Bodh Raj of Thatri Doda, police sources said. Sources said that they received information that a guard on duty at private Finance Company Muthoout Finance Company shot self with his gun, resulting his death on the spot. After getting the information, police reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H). Police have a case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is on. Meanwhile R.M Diwan, General Manager (GM), J&K Muthoot Finance Limited in a press statement said, "the deceased guard was not an employee of Muthoot Finance and the incident happened outside our branch premises. He was an armed guard employed by a local security agency for one of our branches in Jammu and none of our staff is involved in this incident."
