Vinod, Nehru, Renzu in SVO net: Govt 4/7/2015 12:37:25 AM Bivek Mathur Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 6: Vinod Sharma, former Vice-Chairman (VC) of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) and Satish Nehru, then Director Land Management (DLM) JDA are among the top bureaucrats against whom the Sate Vigilance Organization (SVO) has registered cases under various sections. In a reply to a question of Choudhary Qamar Hussain in the Legislative Assembly the government said: " Six cases, 3 each with Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VoK) and Vigilance Organization Jammu (VOJ) have been registered by Vigilance Organization against HODs of autonomous bodies during past three years as on 19/03/2015." Among the accused are Gul Mohammad Hajam, son of Mohammad Anwar Hajam, of Namlabal Pampore, then Incharge District Manager J&K SC, ST, OBC Development Corporation Pulwama/Shopian who is facing allegations of showing Angwanwadi centers functional in records but the figures of beneficiaries enrolled in the Anganwadi centers were fictitious among 1125 Anganwadi centers of district Srinagar 750 Anganwadi centers were non-functional. The officer has been challaned and the case is sub judicious. VOK has registered a FIR No. 16/2014 PS/, against Abdul Qayoom Khan, then MD SFC and Ghulam Ahmed Mir, then Divisional Manager Shalteng for indulging in carrying out illegal appointments and the case is under investigation. Farooq Ahmed Renzu, then Commissioner SMC Srinagar is another official in the Vigilance net who is facing allegations of abusing official position by granting permission for construction of complex in violation of approval of Master Plan. A case under FIR number 11/2015 P/SVOK, has been registered against Renzu and investigations are on. Vinod Sharma, the then VC JDA along with Satish Nehru, the then DLM JDA are alleged to have allotted Plot No. 42, Sector 1-A, Trikuta Nagar Jammu and grabbing of additional land measuring 4300 Sq ft by Mamta Gupta wife of Vinod Sharma, Ex-VC, JDA in connivance with officials/officers of JDA.
