Delegations call on NCP chief 4/11/2015 12:21:23 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 10: Various delegations called on former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP chief Jammu and Kashmir e and discussed many issues and problems being faced by the residents of Mohalla Ustad. According to press release, the delegation demanded that the area is densely populated and due to electromagnetic radiations, which is setup nearby their houses, it will directly affect the children of the locality and old persons in particular, as such no permission should be allowed to anyone for raising tower on the roof of his house. The entire residents had already protested against the errection of the mobile tower. While, addressing the delegation former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh said that he has talked to Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Soujanaya Sharma and appreciated the action of the Municipal Commissioner who has stopped the errection of mobile tower on the house which was being installed by a mobile company. Another delegation from Vijaypur constituency led by Onkar Singh Chairman Teacher cell of NCP and a progressive farmer alongwith Ranjeet Singh Chib, President Vegetable Growers Asscociation of J&K , Mittar Pal Singh Rtd Head Master and many others projected the problems of the farmers due to the recent rains in the entire border belt including Ramgarh and demanded 100% compensation to the farmers from the state govt and exemption of water tax and setting of Border scouts in the entire border belt.
