BJP has betrayed people of Jammu region : Harsh | Saffron party fails to introduce Bill for Delimitation as promised in 'vision document' | | Early Times Report
Ramnagar, Apr 10 : Launching a scathing attack on the BJP for its despicable apathy and criminal neglect in representing the cause of people who catapulted it to power, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and former Minister regretted that the Saffron Party -the BJP utterly failed to execute its much proclaimed role in the just concluded session of the Assembly much to the chagrin and disappointment of the people of Jammu region. Former minister Harsh Dev Singh said this while addressing a public rally at Ramnagar after taking out an impressive protest rally through the main Bazaars of Ramnagar here today. He said that the Saffron Party which had seduced and mesmerized the hordes of passionate voters by their loud exhortations and delusive promises drew flak by surrendering on almost all its issues and slogans. Lambasting the BJP for its cowardly surrender on Rs. 1600 Crore AIIMS project, he deplored that not a single BJP MLA raised his voice against this highly treacherous bargain during the three week long session of the state Assembly despite the fact that the said premier health institute was proposed for Jammu region in the Union Budget session. He further lambasted the BJP for failure to introduce the Bill for Delimitation of Assembly constituencies as promised by it in its vision Documents. He also rebuked the Saffron Party for its pusillanimous surrender on the issues of Dogra certificate, Security to Separatists, Rehabilitation of surrendered militants etc. He sought immediate establishment of all the 19 PHCs and Health centres and 12 High and Higher Secondary schools approved during the previous year. He called for early establishment of Model Schools in Nagrota PanGrain and Babey villages sanctioned at a cost of Rs 6 Crore each and Girls Hostels proposed for Garh Samnabhanj, Dalsar and Chowki at a cost of Rs 3 crore each during the last year and launch of four new courses in University campus Ramnagar as approved in University Council in 2013-14. |
