Aarakshan Virodhi Party organizes meeting 4/11/2015 1:14:34 AM Jammu, April 10: Aarakshan Virodhi Party (AVP) organized a meeting under the chairmanship of President Ram Pal Seth and condemned discrimination done to the needy and deserving of Sawarn castes. According to press release, President Ram Pal Seth said J&K Social welfare department has been paying scholarships and other economic concessions on the basis of caste and has been ignoring the needy and deserving including the children of lepers. Mr. Seth demanded setting up of people welfare department in place of social welfare department for welfare of needy and deserving people of all castes. Yash Paul Sanson General Secretary said needy are being ignored and the advanced and rich are being provided with economic help and other privileges to appease a section for their votes.
