Protests held against Masrat Alam's anti-national remarks, hoisted Pak flag in Valley

Jammu, Apr 16: Various social and political organizations staged protest and burnt effigies of Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Masrat Alam who were hoisted PaK flag and raised anti-India and pro-PaK rants in Valley. They also demanded strict action should be taken against them under Law.
Jammu and Kashmir National Panther Party (JKNPP) activists in scores staged protest demonstration and burnt the effigy of Masrat Alam for raising anti-India and hoisted Pak flag in the valley. They said that the BJP partnered government in the state had allowed the hard line separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani to hold a public rally at Hyderpora in Srinagar where he along with Masrat Alam and other separatists indulged themselves in anti-national activities by hoisting Pakistan flag and shouting and delivering anti-India slogans and rants.
Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of president Ashok Gupta took out a procession in Jammu city and burnt Pakistan flag along with the effigies of the Masrat Alam, Syeed Ali Shah Gellani and other Hurriyat leaders and demanded immediate arrest of these leaders and putting them behind bars or allowing them to cross the border and leaving India permanently.
Workers of Congress Party staged protest against Masrat Alam's anti- national remark and hoisted Pak flag in Valley. They alleged that the real face of Bharatiya Janta Party,BJP has been exposed before public who exercised votes in favour of BJP that talked about nationalism and rationalism in the state and now keeps mum when separatists openly sloganeering against India.
Activists of Hindustan Shiv Sena hled protest against the Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani and Musrat Alam for raising anti India and pro Pakistan slogans along with also waving Pakistan flags in their rally in Valley. President Dimpy Kohli demanded stern action against these leaders and their immediate arrest.
Kranti Dal reacted over the Hurriyat hardliner leader Masarat Alam remark against India and unfurled Pakistani Flags. Workers gathered at Indira Chowk , staged protest and burns effigy of Massart Alam over Alam's remark. They said that this type of activities was not accepted by the people of the state.
Scores of National Student Union of India (NSUI) gathered outside the main gate of Jammu University and burnt the effigies of Masrat Alam. They said the whole nation is in deep anger regarding this decision of state as well as state government and the most condemnable part of the story is that why BJP has maintained criminal silence over this issue and even compromised on the ideology of BJP and principles of Dr. Shama Prasad Mukherjee.
BJP State General Secretary and MLA from Kathua constituency, Rajiv Jasrotia condemned the remarks of Masarat Aalam and waved Pakistani flag at a rally in Srinagar. He demanded action against separatist leader Masarat Alam for waving Pakistani flag and raising anti-India slogans at a rally in Srinagar. Slamming the act, he said India does not agree with Alam stand of waving Pakistan`s flag in India.
In an emergent meeting held by the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, under the chairmanship of its President Adv Abhinav Sharma took a serious view for hoisting of Pakistani flag and the anti-national statements made by the separatist leader Masarat Alam and his supporters in a rally in Srinagar. The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu has seriously condemned such seditious statements and in protest of the same decided to abstain from work in all the Courts including the High Court and Subordinate Courts, Jammu on 17-04-2015 (Friday) as a mark of solidarity and nationalist approach
