KATHUA, April 16: The Pathways International School, Kathua organized an orientation programme for the students and parents today. This orientation was specially designed to acquaint the students and parents with the school facilities, curriculum as well as the extra-curricular activities. To upkeep the spirits of the Baisakhi month, this programme took place on the Baisakhi evening and in full festivity, gave a warm welcome to the incoming batch 2015-16. The special guests on the occasion were Chairman, Dr Divij Suri, The Pathways International School, Kathua, Prof S.P. Suri, Former Head and Dean, Department of Education, University of Jammu, Prof Aruna Suri, Retd. Professor, Department of Education, Sunil Arora, Executive Member of the Management Committee of The Pathways International School, Anita Arora, Chairperson, Navaj Foundation, Dr. Pallvi Arora, Assistant Professor, ICccR & HRM, University of Jammu and Rashim Anand, Director, Education Express, Jammu. Jagdaman Singh, Vice-Principal, The Pathways International School, Kathua welcomed the guests on the occasion and reflected upon the potentialities of the School and discussed several parameters of student-development that shall be focused upon in the School. Kunal Anand, Principal, The Pathways International School, Kathua, gave a detailed presentation that elaborated the various facilities as well as the niche areas of the holistic development of students that can be nurtured through well established coordination between students, teachers and parents. While discussing how the curriculum is going to be useful in embarking upon practical knowledge and applicability, the role of parents as well as teachers in shaping the minds and skills of students was widely thrown light upon. |
