JAMMU, Apr 16 : District level inter-school sports meet of Jammu in two age groups of under-14 and under-17 boys got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS).
Preliminary rounds of competitions held in the disciplines of table tennis, badminton and chess as also finals in carom under-14 and under-17 age groups. Around, 250 boys drawn from various educational institutions of district Jammu are taking part in this four-day competition.
Earlier, the competition declared open by Deputy Director DYSS, Rishi Kumar in the presence of organising secretary, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
