Mendhar, Apr 16 : Govternment Degree College Mendhar (GDCM) organized Annual Parent Teacher meet in the college premises.
According to press release, the programme was presided by Prof. Shabir Hussain Shah, Principal of the college. A large number of Parents have attended this programme along with college students.
While addressing the meet, Prof. Shabir Hussain Shah that the cooperation of parents to mitigate several problems like dropout rate of students, making them regular and punctual, creating interest among them etc, adding, "The whole process of education revolves round parent, teacher and students, if they worked in coordinated way the ultimate benefit goes to students", he said.
The highlight of this programme was the presence of Ex-students (Alumni). All these Ex-students were the special invitees.
The Principal in the simple but impressive programme awarded the degrees to all these Alumni in presence of Parent and distinguish guests from the first pass out batch i.e. 2008 and subsequent batches of 2009 & 2010.
Among other Porf. Shokit Hussain, Prof. Javid Manzoor, Dr. Mahroof Khan were attended the programme.
The proceedings on the stage were conducted by Prof. Sarshad Hussain and formal vote of thanks were presented by Prof. A. A. Chowdhary, HoD, English. |
