| Miscreants assault youth, manhunt launched | | |

Jammu, May 12: A 21 year-old youth was allegedly stabbed by four miscreants over old rivalry at W- 4 of R S Pura falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Miran Sahib. Police have registered a case and launched massive manhunt to nab the absconding accused.
"The injured has been identified as Sachin Singh alias Sunny s/o Nagger Mal resident of W- 13 R S Pura, sources said.
Sources said that in his statements, Sachin told that he was standing at Chowk of RS Pura in their locality, suddenly a group led by Mohinder Singh alias Sonu including Dilbagh Singh, Baddu and Bittu attacked him with sharp-edged weapons resulting injuries to Sachin.
"Sachin was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital and was under treatment when last reports came in, police sources said.
They said a case in this connection has been registered and manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused.
