Rajouri, May 12: After taking over the charge Jammu zone, Danesh Rana, IGP today paid one day visit to Rajouri district and during his visit, the senior police officer reviewed security scenario and inaugurated Officers Meeting Hall at DPL Rajouri.
Danesh Rana, IGP Jammu also hold meeting of officers and jawans which was also attended by AK Attri, DIG ,Rajouri-Poonch, Dr Haseeb Mughal, SSP Rajouri, Surgan Shkla,IPS, SDPO Nowshera, Rakesh Kumar and Tajender Singh ,Additional SPs Nowshera and Rajouri respectively, Zakir Saheen, Iftihar Talib SDPOs Manjakot and Thanamandi respectively, Ifitikhar Ahmed, Ch Hamid, Kewal Krishan, DySsP operations, Headquarters and DPL and others.
During his visit, IGP Jammu also held crime review meeting with supervisory officers/SHOs in which he stressed upon there to curb the menace of drug/bovine smuggling. He also inaugurated the newly constructed officers meeting complex at District Police Lines. The visiting senior police officer who also had served as DIG Rajouri-Poonch also interacted with the prominent citizens and paid patient hearing towards the issues raised by them.
IGP Jammu thanked the participants and assured them Police is always for the welfare of society and sought the cooperation of society in curbing the menace of drug / bovine smuggling.
A K Atri, IPS, DIG Rajouri Poonch also spoke on this occasion and apprised him with security scenario.
About 190 police ranks were present in this meeting in which Dr Haseeb Mughal , SSP Rajouri apprised the IGP about the problems being faced by the jawans/women constables their problems would be solved on merit basis. |
