Bhaderwah, May 13: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, (DYSS) Bhaderwah Zone held Inter school Zonal Level competitions under 14 and 17 in the disciplines of kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, cricket , wrestling and speedball for boys , here today in the play ground of Govt Hr Sec School boys , Bhaderwah.
According to press release, the competitions, which were held under the supervision of Pritam Singh, ZPEO Bhaderwah, were declared open by the Tehsildar Bhaderwah Bashir Ul Hussan and Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah in the presence of DYSS senior officers in an impressive and well attended function.
In this tournament 15 teams of various schools of Bhaderwah are participating and total numbers of players are 175.
Speaking on the occasion ZPEO Bhaderwah Pritam Singh informed that for girls inter school competitions will held tomorrow in the play ground of Govt Hr Sec School girls.
Tehsildar also appreciated the efforts of DYSS for organizing sports activities in Bhaderwah town. |
