LBSCE celebrates annual day 5/13/2015 11:32:18 PM Early Times Report Kathua, May 13: Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Education Rajbagh (Kathua) celebrated its Annual Day Function today with great pump and show. Prof. Desh Bandhu, Director Colleges Development, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest on the occasion while I.D Soni Commissioner Scout and Guide J&K State, Dr. Neeraj Sharma Officer on Special duty CDC University of Jammu and K. L Suri renowned Educationist were the Guest of Honor. The function started with the lightening of traditional lamp by Chief Guest and others which was followed by the welcome song. The Students showed their Talent by means of Group Songs and Dances Performance through the very appealing theme of skit "Beti Bachao - Beti Padao" Students gave the message to the society to save the Female Child. Punjabi Dance presented by the students remained main attraction of the Program. Dr. Surinder Kohli, Chairman of the College welcomed the Guests while Brij Kohli Administrator of the institute presented the Annual Reports highlighting the achievements of the Students and staff during this academic year in scholastic and co - scholastic areas. I. D Soni Commissioner Scout and Guide J&K State, addressed the students on this occasion. He advised the Students to adopt the path of truth in their life. The Chief Guest Prof. Desh Bandhu while addressing the students said that such type of program provide platform to show and improve their hidden talent and skills. He Congratulated the Management, Staff and Students for celebrating the Annual Day Function and said that such type of function must be continue in coming time. The Chief Guest along with Guest of Honor and members of the Management Committee gave away the prizes to the meritorious students and others.
