Stephens International School holds investiture ceremony

JAMMU, May 30 : With a motive to bestow upon its students the ability to be the future leaders, the Stephens International Public School today held the investiture ceremony at school premises. Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the school Dr Kamal Saini emphasized that the personality of the students should be enriched with optimism and spirit of self reliance which enables them to accomplish all their ventures with resounding success. The newly appointed council member of SIPS marched with heads held high to the enthralling beats of the school band. The event began with the tilak ceremony followed by the lighting of the lamp. The student council members were pinned up with the sashes and badges by the Chairman Dr Kamal Saini, the Director Satvinder Saini and the Vice Principal Rama Jamwal.
This was followed by the oath ceremony. The Director Satvinder Saini congratulated the newly elected members and motivated them to be responsible and disciplined. The Vice Principal Rama Jamwal, in her address inspired the students to aim high, to be virtuous, righteous and prove to be a wonderful global leaders.
The students council members comprised of The Head Boy-Akhil Kalsi (XII-A), Asst. Head Boy-Sagar Saini (XI), Head Girl-Pawandeep Kaur (XII-A), Asst. Head Girl-Himani (XI-A), Discipline Incharge-Sheetal Singh (XII-B), Cultural Incharge-Avantika Sharma (XII-A), Sports Captain-Vinod (XII-B), Captain of Courage House-Jasmine Kour (X), Vice Captain of Courage House-Bhavneet Singh (IX), Captain of Joy House-Gurjit Singh (XI-A), Vice Captain of Joy House-Kawaljot Kour (X), Captain of Peace House-Manpreet Singh (X), Vice Captain of Peace House-Karuna (IX), Captain of Wisdom House-Archit (X) and Vice Captain of Wisdom House-Nidhi (IX). The House Masters for the session 2015-16 are Esha Saini (Courage House), Ajay Kumar (Joy House), B.D. Sharma (Peace House) and Mamta Saroch (Wisdom House).
