| Former SRC director Mushtaq quits AAWAJ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 30 : Ex-director Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts New Delhi Mushtaq Kak who was recently inducted as vice-chairman of the newly installed All Artists Welfare Association, Jammu (AAWAJ) has announced to quit the Association.
In a press releases issued here today, Mushtaq Kak, the renowned national and international theatre doer of the state said that his preoccupations I various theatre and film field on national forum does not spare him time to execute the responsibility entrusted to him by the association.
" I do not think that I can do justice with the requirements of the association and hence have expressed my inability to carry on with the post of vice chairman and has decided to quit the association," said Mushtaq Kak.
Mushtaq, however said for the betterment of the theatre in the region and fighting for the cause of the artists, he would be available on all forums and will try to give his bet.
The artists' welfare association has Vijay Sharma as chairman, followed by Kamal Sharma as president, Sudhir Mahajan as the general secretary.
Mushtak Kak is widely known for his exemplary theatre works and workshops conducted by him and have toured nationwide with great productions of great playwrights and have earned laurels nationwide. |
