Modelites Participate in I-Survive Adventure Camp Sunaina Malik 6/11/2015 10:14:47 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 11 : Model Academy in collaboration with Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) today, organized an "I-Survive" Adventure camp at Patnitop for its students. "I-Survive" is a unique initiative primarily targeted at the youth for attitude shaping and developing life skills. The idea is to take students out of their comfort zones and install them with new attitudes, fresh ideas and motivate them to cultivate essential survival skills to succeed in today's competitive world. The "I-Survive" camp was equipped with modern tents and all basic amenities giving the participants a unique outdoor experience. Packaged in a fun format, the camp delivered very important learning's through elaborate debriefing exercises by expert trainers; hence it is a novel academic initiative for today's youth. Around 60 students from Model Academy and MIER College of Education accompanied by the faculty members attended the 2 days camp. A lot of adventure fun filled activities were organized for the students which included rope climbing, passing the Burma bridge, crawling under the net, double rope bridge, fox flying, trekking etc. During the night a bonfire coupled with cultural interaction was also organized in the camp.
