Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya celebrate annual day

BHADARWAH, June 11: Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhadarwah, today celebrated annual day function held at community Hall Bhadarwah. Bhupinder Kumar, Deputy commissioner Doda, Chairman VMC, KV Bhadarwah was the Chief Guest while Tehsildar Bhadarwah was the Guest of Honour on this occasion.
The programme started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest. The students recited Sanskrit Shalokas during this ceremony. Sarasvati Vandana was presented by the students of the Vidyalaya, Chief guest Bhupinder Kumar expressed happiness over the achievements of KV and hoped that the glorious past traditions of the school would be carried forward in future as well. Principal S K Srivastava read out the annual report. He highlighted the achievements of students as well as teachers.
Speaking on this occasion, Chief Guest, appreciated the efforts made by the students to put up a very good show of cultural items with the essence of values. He also said that such events give ample opportunity to the children to participate in cultural items and express themselves and convey their message through these items. He added that KVS has policies and schemes to boost the concept of all round development of the child. He added that KVS has become a world level premier organization catering quality education not only in the country but at abroad also. In his address, the chief guest expressed his happiness that Kendriya Vidyalaya is a popular institution in the city and contributing a lot in the field of education. He appreciated the achievements of students and staff of KV. He congratulated the awardees and expected that they will inspire the others to follow them. A cultural programme, comprising of Patriotic Song, Dance, Krishanavtar, Folk Dance, Nari Shakti item, Western Dance, Bhadarwahi Dhaku Dance and Bhangra, was presented by the students. Meritorious students in different fields of activities, as well achievers of CBSE Exams with Grade A and teachers with excellence in their performance in education and other fields were honoured on this occasion.
